É um macho sim pq tá perdendo o perolado, pq os machos tem o genótipo no seu DNA mesmo ele perdendo o perolado o seu genótipo é perolado e a fêmea não perde pq as fêmeas são fenótipo que quer dizer física ou seja a aparência física não muda ela não tem genótipo perolado só possui o fenótipo que é a parte física, os machos que carrega o genótipo que é a raça que tá no DNA.
