Calopsita chocando apenas 1 ovo

Olá, minha calopsita colocou 4 ovo, um do lado de fora do ninho e 3 dentro. Porém, desses três o casal descartou 2 (colocou estes dois para o outro lado do ninho) e os dois estão fazendo o revezamento para chocar o outro ovo que ficou sozinho. O que pode ter ocorrido neste meio tempo? O fato de descartar alguns e chocar apenas 1, isso pode acontecer? Lembrando que essa é a primeira postura deles.
